Conflicts of Interest Policy

The CEERAT Journal of Business, Management and Finance (CEERATJBMF) is committed to transparency, fairness, and academic integrity. Authors must disclose any financial, professional, personal, or other interests that could influence, or reasonably appear to influence, their research, judgment, or conclusions. A conflict of interest may arise from relationships with organizations, employment, consultancy, research funding, share ownership, or financial support for related conferences or activities.

Authors must provide a Declaration of Conflicting Interest during manuscript submission. Any potential conflict that a reasonable reader may consider relevant should be disclosed before acceptance. Authors are not required to provide detailed financial arrangements; however, they must clearly identify the nature of the conflict. If authors are uncertain about whether an interest should be disclosed, they should consult the Editor.

Authors are required to confirm that:

  1. All sources of financial support have been properly acknowledged.
  2. Any financial or commercial relationship that may create a conflict has been disclosed during submission.
  3. Any potential conflict has been discussed with the Editor when necessary.
  4. No sponsor has restricted the authors' ability to publish positive or negative research findings or required prior approval before publication.
  5. The journal's manuscript submission guidelines regarding conflicts of interest have been carefully reviewed and followed.

The declaration should appear at the end of the manuscript, after the Acknowledgments and before the Funding Acknowledgment, Notes (if applicable), and References, under the heading “Declaration of Conflicting Interest.”

If no conflict exists, authors should state: “The Author(s) declare(s) that there is no conflict of interest.”

The same disclosure requirements apply to editors, guest editors, and peer reviewers, where applicable.
